Package app logs when search, face recognition, pose search, OCR, background removal, startup, or other tasks fail, so support can diagnose the issue.
Logs help diagnose problems that cannot be explained from the screen alone.
When to Package Logs
Package logs when:
- search tasks fail;
- face recognition, pose search, OCR, or background removal fails;
- the local service cannot connect;
- database operations report errors;
- update or startup behavior is abnormal.
Steps
- Open the Help or Tools menu.
- Choose the log packaging entry.
- Wait for the package to be created.
- Send the generated log package to support together with a short description of the problem.
Common Cases
- Include what you clicked before the error appeared.
- If the issue involves a specific file, mention the file type and operation.
- Do not edit log files before sending them unless you need to remove sensitive paths or names.
