During setup, choose custom installation and avoid C:\Program Files. Use a path without spaces or Chinese characters. Recommended: D:\Apps\xuantuwang.

Follow the steps and installation should be smooth
Add the app folder to antivirus allowlists
Add the install folder to exclusions so the local engine is not blocked. Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Manage settings → Exclusions → Add a folder; 360 Total Security → Trust & Blocklist → Add to Trust.
Set the allowlist before first launch
On Windows 11, finish allowlist setup before opening the app for the first time. If the local engine fails to start, the usual causes are spaces in the path or antivirus blocking.
Reserve disk space
The first database setup generates image indexes. Make sure the install drive has enough free space.
