Choose a Camera Source

The camera source determines which device the app uses for live preview and face search.

Steps

1. Open the camera search page.
2. Choose Video Source → USB Camera.
3. Click Refresh Camera List, then select the desired camera cards. You can select multiple cameras; clicking a selected card deselects it.
4. Click Confirm and check the live preview. Confirm is unavailable with no camera selected.

The LAN and remote camera entries are disabled in this version.

Notes

• Connect the camera before opening the page when possible.
• If multiple cameras are connected, select the ones covering the target scene.
• Camera names depend on the operating system and device driver.

Common Cases

• If no camera appears, check device connection and permissions.
• If the preview is black, try another camera source or reconnect the device.
• If the wrong camera opens, switch the source in settings.
