During camera search, review live frames, face boxes, matched people, and hit records so you can confirm results in real time.
Live results show what the camera detects and which indexed people or photos are matched.
Steps
- Open the camera page and choose a camera source.
- Wait for the preview and face detection to start.
- Watch detected face boxes on the video frame.
- Review matched results and similarity information.
- Click a record to open its details. Select a detected face at the top to see its candidates, then click a candidate image for a larger preview.
What to Check
Check the camera ID, search time, maximum similarity and matched photos. The candidate count sums results across the detected faces; it is neither a count of people in the scene nor a deduplicated person count.
The percentage on a live face box is a detection score, while candidate similarity compares the face with library matches. Neither should replace visual identity review.
Common Cases
- If faces are not detected, improve lighting or camera angle.
- If results flicker, reduce movement or adjust search frequency.
- If matches are wrong, review the candidates or adjust the similarity threshold. The camera folder filter does not correctly restrict results in 3.13.31; use a dedicated database when needed. If expected library photos are absent, check that their face data has been generated.
