Local keypoint search level
Open Settings → Local · Keypoints, directly or using the shortcut on the Search page. Under Search, set Search Level from 1 to 10: lower levels search faster with fewer candidates; higher levels search more thoroughly and can take longer. Start at the default level, then increase it gradually if relevant matches are missing.
Changing this level affects subsequent searches without re-parsing the library. The extraction limit and distribution are different: those require a restart and reprocessing of existing images.
Common defaults
- Maximum image count accepts 10–1000 for ordinary searches. Larger counts make lists longer and slower to load. Batch Search has its own per-reference count and range.
- Default strategy selects the initial image-search strategy. Strategies without parsed data are unavailable; add or repair the required data first.
- Paste image with Ctrl+V chooses image search or face search, and also controls quick search when a single image is dragged onto the workspace. Quick face search automatically uses the first detected face; open the face-search dialog to choose a specific person in a group photo.
These settings do not reprocess the library. Keypoint extraction limits and distribution are on the Local · Keypoints page.
