Configure default file import options, including which file types, image strategies, pose data, face data, OCR, and related search data should be prepared when adding folders.
File import settings help you avoid choosing the same options every time you add folders.
Steps
- Open Settings.
- Find the add-file or import section.
- Choose default file types and processing options.
- Set default search strategies if available.
- Save settings.
What to Configure
You can configure options such as:
- whether to include images, PDFs, Excel files, or videos;
- whether to parse embedded images;
- which image search strategies to prepare;
- whether OCR, pose, face, color, or duplicate data should be generated.
Strategy Suggestions
Start with global image search for general use. Add color, background-removed, local keypoints, OCR, pose, or face data only when your workflow needs them.
Common Cases
- If folder adding feels slow, reduce unnecessary default strategies.
- If a search method is unavailable later, enable the strategy and refresh or rebuild data.
- Settings apply to future tasks; existing data may need refresh or rebuild.
