Set Search Scope and Result Count

In reverse image search, pose search, semantic search, and face search, set the search scope and maximum number of results to make results more focused and controlled.

Search scope controls where the app searches. Result count controls how many candidates are returned.

Set Maximum Result Count

Use a smaller number when you only need the strongest matches. Use a larger number when the reference is unclear, the library is large, or you want to review more possibilities.

Choose Search Scope

Available scopes may include:

  • whole database;
  • current folder;
  • selected folder and subfolders;
  • a collection;
  • a search result group.

Narrowing the scope can reduce noise and make review faster.

Suggestions

  • Start broad when you are not sure where the image is.
  • Narrow to a project folder when you know the likely source.
  • Increase result count when you are searching from a crop, screenshot, or compressed preview.
