Database Management Menu

The database management menu gathers important maintenance operations in one place.

Open the Entry

Open the relevant app menu and choose the database management or maintenance entry. The exact menu name may depend on the current build.

Choosing an Operation

• Refresh database: sync file changes in indexed folders.
• Rebuild database indexes: regenerate or repair search feature data.
• Repair damaged database file: recover a damaged database.db.
• Shrink or manage database: reduce database size or open the database location when available.

Notes

• Use refresh for normal file changes.
• Use rebuild when search data is missing or abnormal.
• Use repair only when the database file is damaged.
• Back up important databases before risky maintenance.
