Manage Indexed Folders
Right-click an indexed folder in the folder tree to open its original location, move the folder, refresh a single folder, or remove that folder's data from the app.

Right-click an indexed folder in the folder tree to open its original location, move the folder, refresh a single folder, or remove that folder's data from the app.
The folder context menu helps you manage indexed folders without leaving the workspace.
Steps
- Find the folder in the left folder tree.
- Right-click the folder.
- Choose the operation you need.
- Confirm the action when the app asks for confirmation.
What Each Action Does
- Open original location: opens the folder in the system file manager.
- Move folder: updates the database when a folder has moved to a new path.
- Refresh folder: syncs changes in that folder only.
- Remove from app: removes the folder's database records from the app.
Moving Folder Notes
Use move folder when the source folder has been moved but the material is still the same. Choose the new location carefully so the app can reconnect records to the correct files.
Remove vs Delete
Removing a folder from the app only clears database records. It does not delete source files from your computer. File deletion actions are separate and should be used carefully.
Common Cases
- If a drive letter changed, use move folder or choose the new path.
- If only one project folder changed, refresh that folder instead of refreshing the whole database.
- If a folder is no longer needed in the app, remove it from the database.
