A quick tour of the first-time workflow, from entering the workspace to adding material and starting your first search.
The first-use flow helps you get from an empty database to your first searchable image library.
Main Flow
- Open the app and enter the search workspace.
- Confirm the database location and any first-time environment reminders.
- Add a folder that contains a small batch of images.
- Choose basic image search data first.
- Wait for the indexing task to finish.
- Select the folder and browse the images.
- Try reverse image search with one reference image.
Tips
- Start with a small folder to learn the workflow.
- Add more features such as OCR, pose search, face search, and color search after the basic flow works.
- Use database statistics to confirm indexing completed.
Common Cases
- If the workspace is empty, add a folder first.
- If search is unavailable, check whether the related data was generated.
- If indexing takes time, watch the progress task instead of restarting the app.
