Select a file and use the right detail panel to view histograms, dominant colors, filename, dimensions, size, indexing status, EXIF data, video information, and other metadata.
The right detail panel shows technical and organizational information about the selected file.
What the Info Panel Shows
Depending on the file type, the panel may show:
- filename and path;
- file size and modified time;
- image dimensions and aspect ratio;
- histogram and dominant colors;
- rating, color label, and notes;
- whether search data has been generated.
View Metadata
Metadata may include EXIF information, camera data, capture date, video duration, or other file-specific fields. Not every file contains complete metadata.
Using Color Information
Dominant colors and color labels help you review visual style, filter same-tone material, and decide whether color search is useful for a project.
Common Cases
- If metadata is empty, the source file may not contain that field.
- If dimensions look wrong, refresh or re-parse the file.
- If color information is missing, generate or refresh color-related data.
