Share the Host Connection Link and QR Code

Host-to-client connection lets another computer or phone browser use the image library and search features on the host machine. The host desktop client must stay open.

Steps

1. On the host, enter the search workspace.
2. Open "Connection" from the top menu.
3. Choose "Connection Settings".
4. Confirm you have an available seat. Under Members, choose Add Member and enter an account, password and optional name. Skip this if a member already exists.
5. The entry modes, link and QR code appear after a member is added. Confirm the status says Entry Available, then select Intranet or External.
6. Copy the link for a computer client, or scan the QR code from a phone.
7. On the client, open the link and click "Connect to Host".
8. Sign in with the member account and password created on the host.

Which Entry to Use

• Use the intranet entry on the same LAN or Wi-Fi.
• Use the remote entry for access across networks.
• If remote connection is disabled in this build, use the intranet entry.
• Resetting the remote entry invalidates the old remote link.
• Compatibility mode may disable the LAN entry. External access is an alternative only if it is enabled and ready; adding a member cannot fix both modes being unavailable.

Common Cases

• If the entry is still loading, wait until the host local service is ready.
• If an intranet link does not open, check that both devices are on the same LAN.
• If the client asks for login, use the host-created member account, not a WeChat or host account.
• The host must have valid usage time, and the member must be enabled and within the valid seat limit. A visible link or existing account alone does not prove connection is allowed.

On a phone or tablet, the mobile home page provides library status and image, face, semantic and color search. The Library tab supports folders, timeline and collections. Keep library maintenance and large exports on the host desktop.

External traffic

From 3.13.30, select External mode and wait for statistics to load. Cycle traffic and Details show usage, dates, categories and daily records. Direct LAN traffic is excluded. Remaining seats are not a remaining traffic allowance. See “Understand and Reduce External Connection Traffic”.

Entry Ready Example

The host has two seats and one enabled member: one seat is used and one remains. The intranet entry is generated, but zero members are online. Entry Available does not mean a client has signed in. Use the address and member account from your own host; the example QR code is not your connection entry.
