Use a client seat key on the host to add seats, then create member accounts for client devices to sign in.
Clients cannot connect anonymously. The host needs available seats and member accounts. In the online edition, using a valid client seat key on the host adds assignable seats.
Use a Seat Key
- Open Connection Settings on the host.
- Click "Seats / Keys".
- Paste the client seat key.
- Click "Use".
- Return to the connection page and check total and remaining seats.
Create a Member
- In the client members area, click "Add Member".
- Enter a unique account.
- Enter a login password.
- Add a name or note if needed.
- Save the member.
- Send the connection link, account, and password to the client user.
Seat Rules
- Enabled members consume seats.
- Disabled or deleted members release seats.
- One member account can be online on only one client at a time.
- If a seat key expires, newer members beyond the available seat count may become unavailable.
Common Cases
- If "Add Member" is disabled, seats are missing or already full.
- Keep seat keys and member passwords private.
